It's official... I am Prall.

Please have a seat and be patient while I tidy up the place. Art's a hard business, you know!

Comfortable? Great! Let me introduce myself. My name is Nathan Rackley, and I am a professional cartoonist operating out of my evil lair located somewhere in the middle of the New Mexican desert (Albuquerque, to be more precise). But according to the state of New Mexico, my name is now officially Prall.

I was surprised as anyone when I received the news. I had sent out for my new official state identification card. I know that my name, identification number, and contact information was correct. But when I opened the mailbox (even evil lairs need to receive packages now and again) I found that my name was listed now officially as Prall. I don't know how it happened. I specifically remember writing my name in clear, concise letters, in those little boxes that they provide. But apparently, somewhere along the line, either someone mistyped my name, or they decided that Prall was a much more suitable title for me. Now, don't get me wrong. Prall is a fine name. However it's not the kind of thing you would normally introduce yourself as in public.

"Hello. I am Prall."

It sounds like something straight out of a fantasy novel. Wouldn't that introduction sound better in an online game, or as the name of a character in a book? I might as well be saying "Greetings! I am Prall, Lord of Darkness!"

I thought about this a long time. And then I decided to do something about it. Why Lord of Darkness, you ask? Well, it certainly sounds cooler than "Prall, Lord of Strawberries", or "Prall, Lord of the White Fluffy Clouds." And Darkness can refer to so many wonderful things... like Chocolate. Or... well, the only thing I can think of at the moment is chocolate. But that's reason enough right there.

So there you have it! I am Prall, Lord of Darkness.

Or Nathan, whichever you prefer.
